The Partridge Inn may be your best bet
on an Augusta, Georgia golf vacation.

If this year's Masters tournament inspires you to plan an Augusta, Georgia golf vacation in the future, keep in mind that all of the area's accommodations are not created equal.
Practically every discount hotel chain in America is represented on Washington Road, the surprisingly garish and tacky strip that runs right past the gates of Augusta National Golf Club, which is buffered from the honky-tonk with trees, shrubs and thick clumps of bamboo.
If saving money is your main concern, one of these McMotels might work for you. But if you want to stay in one of the most comfortable and hospitable places on your Augusta, Georgia golf vacation, book at room at The Partridge Inn, a 19th century hotel on a hill in Summerville, Augusta's intriguing historic district.
When Golf Odyssey last visited, we stayed in a standard room, which was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The superior rooms and suites are even better; they have balconies with panoramic views of Augusta.
Room rates at this registered historic landmark are resonably priced from $129 to $179 (the penthouse is $1,500) per night and include breakfast. However, keep in mind that if you're planning on staying here during the Masters, the Partridge Inn requires a minimum seven-night stay.
