In terms of golf weather, there are few bad times to take a Myrtle Beach golf vacation. November through February are the only months in which temperatures sometimes drop into the 50s, but if you dont mind wearing a light sweater or windshirt, youll be rewarded with significantly reduced hotel rates and green fees.
Similarly, summers are quite the value play for golfers, since most of the crowds come for the beach, not the golf. Average temperatures typically hover around the high 80s or low 90s. Thunderstorms can be common, but theyre usually short lived. Prices spike back up from mid-September through October but the weather is not appreciably better.
Spring is high season, mainly because golfers from the north come down eager to thaw out from the winter and get their season started. Hence, youll find the highest prices and most crowded courses. Average temperatures range between 60-70 degrees and rain is usually a non-factor.
