The villas offer privacy and seclusion.

Set back a bit from all the highways, cookie-cutter hotels and restaurant chains, the Grand Cypress Resort is one of the best places to stay and play while on an Orlando, Florida golf vacation.
If you have the chance to stay there on your Florida golf vacation, take it. But, be aware that the resort offers two very different lodging options, a high-rise hotel and low-rise villas, located about a mile apart from one another.
If you prefer to be in the center of the action and enjoy the hubbub of a typical resort, stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, the hotel-style option. On the other hand, if you prefer quiet, seclusion and privacy on your Florida golf vacation and want an experience that more closely resembles the comforts of home, the Villas of Grand Cypress should be your base.

Our preference is for the Villas. Clustered around the North course, these tile-roofed, one and two-story Mediterranean-style villas are spacious and well equipped. They range in size from one to four bedrooms, each with a king-size or two double beds, a sitting area, a spacious bathroom with soaking tub and stand-alone shower, plus an outside patio, terrace or balcony. If you dont need a kitchen on your Florida golf vacation, the smaller, Club Suite villas are also nice.
What makes the villas truly special however, is the extraordinary service that comes along with them. On all of our visits, the staff responded to our every request with impeccable skill and promptness.
One final tip: when making a reservation for your Florida golf vacation, request a corner villa. These units offer much more expansive terrace space than the others.
