Thanks to its coastal location and resulting lack of snowfall, you can take a Bandon Dunes golf vacation throughout the year. However, the months of May through October are the warmest (average high temperatures range from 60 to 70) and, more importantly, their days are the longest, allowing you to take advantage of the resorts deeply discounted replay rate (half price for resort guests).
Of course, this window also constitutes the resorts high season, and even at this remote outpost things can sometimes start to feel a bit congested. In my experience, October and early November are the best months in which to take a Bandon Dunes golf vacation as they offer the best combination of good weather and lack of crowds.
November is also great for sheer value (as is April), as thats when the rates drop but the mercury, on average, hovers at a high of around 60 each day. Low rates can also be found in winter and early spring, but with them comes rain and unpredictable conditions (not necessarily a bad thing for seekers of an even more authentic Irish/Scottish experience). Wind is an issue no matter when you take your Bandon Dunes golf vacation, though surprisingly, July is particularly gusty.
