Scottsdale is a favorite destination for an Arizona golf vacation, and come spring, it is also a wonderful venue for baseball fans. Nine Major League teams make Phoenix/Scottsdale their home for spring training.
With many afternoon and evening ball games to choose from, you will find it easy to combine an Arizona golf vacation with America's pastime.
If you have never experienced Major League Baseball spring training on an Arizona golf vacation, you're in for a real treat. Many of the stadiums in the Cactus League sport an appealing retro style, and since no ballpark seats more than 13,000 fans, there are no bad seats in the house.
Parking is easy, ticket prices are reasonable, and in the absence of a three-minute commercial break between innings, the games usually run about two hours, leaving plenty of time for other diversions on your Arizona golf vacation.
