One of the great things about an American Club Kohler golf vacation besides the availability and variety of phenomenal golf courses is that its relatively easy to arrange.
Those arriving on commercial airlines can choose from one of four airports, all within a two-and-a-half hour drive from the town of Kohler, the epicenter of an American Club Kohler golf vacation.
The closest are located in Milwaukee (General Mitchell International Airport MKE) and Green Bay (Austin Straubel International Airport GRB) each about an hour away. Driving from Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) in Madison or OHare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago will take two and two-and-a-half hours, respectively.
The American Clubs concierge will be more than happy to arrange ground transportation for you; either via a private car (about $150 for two people) or shared shuttle (about $50 for two). Renting a car is another option and Avis has a sweetheart setup: drop the car at the hotel upon arrival, drive it back on departure and only get charged for two days.
Of course, if you have access to a private plane, the best way to get to your American Club Kohler golf vacation would be to land it at Sheboygan County Memorial Airport, just 10 minutes from the American Clubs front door.
