There is a surprise waiting for you on your American Club Kohler golf vacation, and it isn't at the American Club.
Sheboygan County, Wisconsin has an unaffiliated, daily-fee course that gives the American Club Kohler Resort layouts a run for their money: the Bull at Pinehurst Farms.
This Nicklaus signature design is built on an old cattle farm and rambles around a river as it passes through rolling meadows and woodlands.
Although the Bull charges at players with its length (7,332 yards from the tips), its narrow fairways, and its green complexes, Jack's first few holes are not that difficult. But players soon learn that they must keep the ball airborne, as the Onion River, ravines, and a creek come into play on 16 holes.
The par-four 5th is the Bull's first truly memorable hole.

After hitting over a ravine on the tee shot, the hole bends almost ninety degrees for an approach over another chasm.
Your jaw may drop when you reach the par-3 6th,which is all carry over another spectacular ravine. The 16th, a 422-yard par-four, bends left and requires yet another shot over a ravine to the green.
