Club XIX tops Pebble's extensive dining options.
There are more than a dozen dining options among the three hotels and four-and-a-half golf courses operated by the Pebble Beach Resorts company, but just like its always-exciting National Pro-Am, there are some highlights not-to-be-missed on your Pebble Beach golf vacation.
Located in the Lodge at Pebble Beach, Club XIX should be your first choice for a special dinner. Combining an outstanding wine list, meat and game cooked to perfection, and seafood that tastes as if it was freshly pulled from the crashing surf below, the fare befits the cozy, oak-paneled décor and justifies the jacket-and-tie dress code.
For something more casual but no less memorable on your Pebble Beach golf vacation, nothing tops The Tap Room for post-round burgers, beer and all-around golf ambiance. Also located in the Lodge, its walls are adorned with photos and artifacts that impart the course’s place in golf’s history and, in doing so, emphasize the significance of your round in yours.
Just up the road at the Inn at Spanish Bay, noted Italian winemakers and restauranteurs, the Antinori’s, preside over Pèppoli, their first establishment in the United States. Featuring authentic Tuscan country dishes and Florentine fare prepared in an open, big-oven Italian kitchen, the restaurant combines a somewhat modern look with Old World traditions, including a team of servers that adeptly attend to every table.
These are by no means the only notable dining options on a Pebble Beach golf vacation, but they are the cream of the crop if you’re staying on-property with Pebble Beach Resorts.
