The Best Place to Stay on Your American Club Kohler Golf Vacation

When it opened in 1918, the American Club Kohler earned fame for providing care and comfort to immigrant workers. After the old immigrant dorm reopened in 1981 as the American Club Hotel, it became notable for pampering resort guests.

Today, guests on an American Club Kohler Golf Vacation may stay at the American Club, an AAA Five-Diamond-rated resort. While every room in the main building features handcrafted woodwork, Baker furnishings, and an armoire with television set and VCR (DVD players are available on request), the standard rooms are not opulent.

The luxury quotient of your American Club Kohler golf vacation rises impressively, however, when you stay in the resort’s higher-category rooms. The bathrooms are especially glorious, showing off the Kohler Company’s latest fixtures.

A higher order of service and pampering is available at the Carriage House, which is quieter and more relaxing than the main hotel.

Guest rooms are comparable to the chambers in the main building, but extra amenities include continental breakfast, refreshments in the lobby, a dedicated concierge desk, and complimentary use of the Kohler Waters Spa located in the Carriage House building.
