Pebble Beach golf vacations can include a free round at Spanish Bay.
I know we’ve been sharing a lot of tips lately on how to play the Pebble Beach golf courses for less, but they keep coming up with new deals and specials (not available at the pebblebeach.com website) that we thought you’d want to know about.
The latest offer includes a free round of golf at Spanish Bay (a $260 value) and a free room upgrade (value varies) for Pebble Beach golf vacations taken through March 31, 2009. The only catch is that you have to make your reservations by January 31, which is quickly approaching.
By the way, the average high temperatures for Pebble Beach from now through April are in the 60s (15s C), and what is normally the rainy season has been absolutely beautiful lately.
Tee times are, of course, subject to availability, and don’t forget that the PGA Tour comes to town February 9-15 — probably a bad time to schedule your Pebble Beach golf vacation unless you’re attending the tournament.
If you want to take advantage of this Pebble Beach golf vacation deal, call (800) 877-0279 and use promotion code: PGENR.
Thanks to one of our readers, we also learned that there has been a change to the other Pebble Beach golf course packages that are listed on the Pebble Beach website (these are for two and three rounds/room nights). Their valid dates have been extended by one month and are now available until April 30, 2009.

I am planning to be in Monterey from April 22-24, 2010 staying at the Hyatt Resort. I was hoping to play Pebble Beach Golf Links while I’m in the area. I’m happy to play as a single but what are my chances of getting on?? Should I plan ahead or just show up and take my chances?? Any advice would be helpful.

“Resorts like these are still only providing advance booking capability to their guests and giving daily-fee players the tee-time leftovers, but, simply put, there’s a lot more left over now.”
