That's weak. When I've had problems with Continental and U.S. Air, sending a letter got me a voucher for a round-trip ticket on the same route (good for 1 year). It was a nightmare. About every two weeks United kept changing the flight schedules...which screwed up the golf reservations we had for the first day. Eventually I had to re-book with another airlines and drive from Portland. Less then desirable...but at least it was dependable! United's customer service [which seems to be in Pakistan] was terrible and of no assistance. I sent United a lengthy letter of my experience...to which I never recieved a response. I've dropped my Freq Flyer membership and will not be flying the Friendly Skies again. I booked this flight for our foursome, with United back in late 2008. It was a nightmare.
