Free, unlimited golf at Sea Island Golf Club now through March 7.

Last week, we told you how you can score a free round of golf at the Links at Spanish Bay while on a Pebble Beach golf vacation (see our Jan. 15 post). Today, we’re going to tell you how to play free golf during your entire stay at the Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club, the much acclaimed resort off the coast of Georgia.

The very comfortable Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club is offering “Lodge Winter Golf Packages” starting at $375 per night ($450 for double occupancy) that include free, unlimited golf on its premier Seaside Course (a Colt/Alison design, Tom Fazio redesign) and Plantation Course (Walter Travis design, Rees Jones redesign).  Read more →

While it’s not as simple as calling a ticket office like you can with other tournaments, the Web has made it almost as effortless.

First of all, when most people refer to Masters tickets, they really mean “Tournament” or “Series” badges, which grant access to the official competitive rounds from Thursday through Sunday. Tickets to the practice rounds are a lot easier to come by, but if we were going to the trouble of organizing a golf vacation to see golf’s masters, we’d want to see them play, not practice.  Read more →
